Since 2020. April.1st. Tokyo has regulated smoking, prohibiting it in all restaurants, except in designated smoking areas where the public can be admitted. Enforcing this regulation created some fuss, especially from the owners of a small pub. It has been a long time since I have heard that smoking seems like slow suicide, but my co-worker Yukiko Kishi has a different viewpoint for the culture of smoking. She shows me some Matchboxes. I was amazed by the beauty and the unique designs condensed onto the small canvas.
